Ammonium polyphosphate with high polymerization degree is a high-quality non-halogenated flame retardant for intumescent coatings, paints and engineering plastics.The pruduct is largely insoluble in water and completely insoluble in organic solvent. It is white, non-hygroscopic and non-flammable, whose crystalline form is II, n>1000.

Key properties: GD-102 Melamine cladding ammonium polyphosphate is GD-101ammonium polyphosphate modified by melamine on the surface.
· Very low water solubility -GD-APP102 has low water solubility that is no more than 0.10g/ 100mlH2O at 20, which makes it useful in application where the product is exposed to high humidity conditions or water.
· High phosphorus content and nitrogen content-GD-APP102 contains 68.0% phosphorus (as P2O5) and 18.0%nitrogen which makes it a very effective fire retardant.
· Low viscosity – viscosity of GD-APP102 is below 20mpa.s.
· Thermal decomposition onset that is above 295, which makes it be widely used to plastic with different melt-point temperature.
· Non-halogen-GD-APP102 is a highly effective non-halogen fire retardant.
Applications: GD-APP102 is an effective fire retardant for applications such as:
· Intumescent latex and solvent based paints.
· Polymer systems such as polyethylene, polypropylene, polyurethane, rubbers, acrylics, polyterephthalate.
· Building materials such as wall coverings, ceiling tiles, roofing products, wall panels, wood chip board.
